When should I choose multi‑screen instead of vehicle‑mounted single‑display screen?

Multi‑screen instrument solution is adopted when vehicle‑mounted single‑display screen cannot satisfy project functional demands. Below are typical selection scenarios:
✅ Excessive display contents
Even with multi‑parameter split‑screen layout, a single screen cannot reasonably accommodate all running parameters, icons and fault graphics. Too dense layout will reduce readability under strong sunlight.
✅ Requirement for parallel independent information display
Need to keep different groups of key information visible simultaneously all the time.
Example: One screen shows core working parameters, another independently displays special fault alarm status. Frequent page‑switching on single‑screen will distract drivers during operation.
✅ Complex man‑machine interaction requirement
Multiple independent UI pages need to work in parallel. Single‑display has to jump among pages, which is not suitable for high‑frequency diagnosis and monitoring scenarios.
✅ Sufficient mechanical installation space
Instrument housing has reserved enough inner space to arrange multiple screens, harness and main‑board hardware.

Important limitations of multi‑screen solution:
‑ Higher total cost including screens, main‑board with multi‑channel driving circuit and harness cost.
‑ More complex wiring layout, higher requirement for anti‑interference treatment.
‑ Not recommended for ordinary mass‑produced forklifts, mostly applied for custom special‑purpose engineering vehicles.

We suggest preferring single‑display with proper high resolution first. Switch to multi‑screen only after single‑screen scheme reaches its limit.
